Without further ado, allow me to place pen to pencil of The Official May LAITMYLK Wishlist...

A shoe: Cult Gaia Meta 80mm Mule £541

Cult Gaia shoes are one of the coolest and quirkiest shoe brands on the scene at the moment. And these ones happen to be my favourites. Three pedestals of golden globules for the heel, and a perspex secure to hold your Cinderella foot in place, grab these mules before it’s too late!

A bag: Serpui Straw bunny clutch bag £418

Yeah yeah, Easter’s come and gone. But this little basket clutch bag is perfect for our one-outing-a-day picnics in the middle of a park, for packing your phone, some hand sanitiser and some stylish shades.

A book: The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar

Nishat doesn’t want to lose her family, but she also doesn’t want to hide who she is, and it only gets harder once a childhood friend walks back into her life. Flávia is beautiful and charismatic, and Nishat falls for her instantly.

A sound: Julianna Calm Down by The Dixie Chicks

The country pop trio is treating us to another song from their highly anticipates and upcoming collection that could not be more applicable to the times we are living through now. In “Julianna Calm Down” the lyrics speak of the power of perseverance, and how we can overcome a storm.

With lyrics such as “I guess this is the time to remind you / Sometimes, what's going through your head / Is just a temporary situation / And light will soon be shed”… it’s truly a masterpiece in quiet, country pop disguise.

A film: The Holiday, directed by Isabella Eklöf

Whether you do or don’t have a penchant for world cinema, this is a must to add to your ‘to watch list’. Sascha is a trophy girlfriend of a small-time drug lord and becomes caught up in a web of luxury and violence in the port city of Bodrum on the Turkish Riviera. Violence is a way of life for the gangster family but Sascha soon yearns for normalcy.

A cosmetic: Bunny Eyeshadow Palette by Revolution £6.00

Hoppity hop hopping coco is what I am for these eyeshadow palettes. Not only is the packaging adorable and a keepsake even when emptied, crack it open and you’ll be treasured to a gorgeous array of 8 shimmer and matte, highly pigmented shadows.

A skincare: Clarins Double Serum £78.00

This is the most potent and powerful and plant based serum you’ll ever use - mark my mylkie words. This serum produces a youthful and radiant complexion with the power of 21 active plant ingredients such turmeric, avocado, goji berry, mango, horse chestnut, banana and… the leaf of life.

An edible: What A Melon juice available from Waitrose £1.50

What A Melon is the all natural, mouth-watering taste of summer that's packed full of rehydrating electrolytes. A delicious alternative to coconut water, it's just the water from a watermelon with a fresh squeeze of lemon. Never from concentrate and with no added sugar, water, artificial ingredients or preservatives!

A clothing: Lirika Matoshi Strawberry dress £400

You may have seen this dress scattered all over instagram because of how damn cute it is. You may have even seen it on Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the costume department, where customisation is finally a thing. Made of tulle and frill, sparkle and sugar and all things nice (okay, I’m joking, there isn’t actually sugar on the dress), this is a stunning frock that is suitable for all occasions.

A jewel: Swarovski Shell Cowrie Bracelet £69.00

Anything sparkly catches my eye - much like a magpie. And this bracelet is no exception. It’s a true maritime marvelling charmer, featuring five scintillating cowry shell-shaped elements, set with Swarovski Crystals on one side and gold.

A decor: Honey Bear Glass £8.20 from Anthropologie

The cutest glass you ever did see. No, you can’t fit much in it. At all. But isn’t it dinky? Use for a small yogurt parfait, or even for a naughty tipple of your favourite liquor to be… the Goldilocks who got back at the bears. *sips tea*
