Where to Really Travel in Greece 🇬🇷

Turquoise waters clarion and cerulean, making your eyes enhance in clarity by the gaze alone. The breeze neoteric and virginal in it's blissful purity against your face. Watermelon nectar trickling down sea salted skin, fresh from a dip into the oceans indigo waves. Your mind, tranquil: a lagoon absent of ripples and woes... this is life on a Greek Island.

When I think of paradise, my mind sets sails towards talcum powder sand, raw seashells, fresh unadulterated food and a general air of being welcome - regardless of who you are.

I am as deeply infatuated by The Greeks as I am my own Armenian-Lebanese roots. There is something so entrancing about the rich mythological tales, the crackling history, engraved traditions and robust faith that is breathtakingly beautiful. It's unlike any other in the world.

Whether they are celebrating the coming together of two lovers in engagement and marriage (the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding didn't just come out of thin air you know!), or their abundance of carnivals (otherwise knqon as Apokries); Easter and Christmas (as a highly religious couuntry ✝️ ), to the less acknowledged Ohi Day (when Metaxas refused to let the Italians invaded the country during World War II)... they are a nation I adore and always will.

Alas, I have much to learn. As do YOU.

So to inspire your cultural cravings and prompt your yearning for learning... LAITMYLK is here with British Airways to guide you on the 8 most beautiful spots in Greece to visit, when all this pandemic malarkey has bitten the dust.

Let's create a καψούρα (burning desire) for you to travel... and to φιλότιμο (honour) the islands awaiting your arrival! ✈️ 🏝 🇬🇷
